I read The Mists of Avalon a very long time ago and was absolutely mesmerised by it. There were no other books surrounding it at the time, and no plans for more that I could find (this was pre-internet) so I sadly adjusted to just the one. So the news that there are two prequels is very exciting for me! (though I wonder where they could possibly begin? The book as it exists seems perfect and whole in its re-telling of the Arthur myth. How exciting!)
I will go out and find them as soon as may be!
Di, I also would strongly urge you to read it! It does for Arthur what The Red Tent does for Isaac and Jacob!
