Nice! What a lovely blue sky.

It seems to change dramatically almost overnight. We had snow several times last week and today was warm(ish) with potential for thunderstorms. It will green up fast although we still have a few freezing nights in our forecast and we've been known to get snow even in May.

That's from today?

It's beautiful, though. If that's any consolation.

Yup. From today. Although it's rare, we've had heavy snow in May. In April it's not terribly unusual.

Oh my! Did he have his flock with him? Is it a wild Tom?

We saw a huge flock a couple weeks ago. Dozens and dozens, but they were at quite a distance. Mostly I've been seeing turkey vultures.

Yes and yes, but he was the only one that flew up on to the top of the shed. We have tons of them and it is mating season.

Animal, vegetable, or mineral?

Mineral. Pyromorphite clusters.
