A Critical Drinker's Critical Analysis

My sincere apologies if this is frowned upon etiquette (linking to video), but I just stumbled upon this writer's analysis of The Hobbit films, and with expected caveats I found it more than fair. Do you?

We are perfectly fine with video links, Beorhthoth. As a matter of fact, I'm even going to make it pop up on the screen...

I am not a big fan of the Hobbit either, and if you've been active on other message boards, like TORC, you'll know the LOTR movies were criticized by many, too.

When the night has been too lonely, and the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong,
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes The Rose.
