Once again, I was foiled by Hard Mode. Maybe I should go back to regular mode?

Jude, (obviously) the purpose of 'Hard Mode' is well, to make it harder, more 'challenging'. The premise is to make one work harder on strategy. The problem, in my very own humble opinion, is that one would often have to rely more on luck than strategy when you have clues that fit a common pattern. Say one has _AKER, it could be BAKER, FAKER, TAKER, LAKER, MAKER, SAKER, WAKER, or _OIST could be JOIST, HOIST, MOIST, FOIST. There is no opportunity to use strategy in such cases and it becomes a game of Whack-a-mole. That would suck all of the fun out of the game for me. Obviously your mileage may vary.
