Jay Siegel and the Tokens

Post by Sunsilver »

Jay Siegel celebrated his 75th birthday this week. He is still performing, and, as you'll see from this clip, still sounds great! (Okay, the clip IS a few years old. IIRC, it was recorded in 2007.)

Wow, did that ever take me back!

Here's how he does it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtxPdkzmk_4

The love for what he does really come through in every note of that song. What a truly fortunate man!
When the night has been too lonely, and the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong,
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes The Rose.
