Orlando's just lucky that Tauriel's shielding him!

Honestly, in some ways I am more annoyed by Legolas' presence, as it automatically leads to a "fan-pleasing" obligation from PJ to give us even kewler stunts than we saw in LOTR (and to concoct irrelevant reasons for why he ends up going to Rivendell in FOTR - something it seems we will be seeing). A lot of this LOTR-movie fan service is at the root of TH's problems, IMO.

That's why a Del Toro Hobbit, even if I would have objected to some of it on a visual level, would have likely been so much better. There would have been far less of an obligation to give the LOTR movie super fans what you think they want. More of it's own set of movies, with their own internal dynamics, and less of a "prequel."

Ah well. What's done is done...

Nice!

(Elen, that may be the best "smiley" ever.)

Oh sorry there! I didn't know there was a separate thread on vlogs.

Excellent excellent "smiley". One of the best I have seen! :D

Your reaction is "All Hail the Pancake Bunny!" ? How odd.

His reaction is always "all hail the pancake bunny." :)

Obviously my emoticon is far more entertaining than the v-log... ;)

Nobody care to offer a suggestion of why Alfrid might be in Dale?

Nope. :)

Honestly, I can't think of a reason, although the proliferation of "Laketown spies" that are now listed in the cast list might somehow be related in some way.

Clearly, the pancake bunny in this case represents the near God-like nature of Elen after creating that smiley. Keep up!

I haven't watched it yet (won't be able to for a couple of hours) but I thought I would post it here nonetheless.

Vlog #14 up on PJ's FB page

Doug Adams and Howard Shore chat about the DoS score, and recording it with the NZSO - awesome!

To answer my own question, no. It is better than that!

YES! It is great to see Doug Adams get some exposure, alongside Howard, and I particularly enjoyed that they featured some of the individual musicians - great personalities!

You know, if they'd just released that a couple weeks ago, it could have saved me a lot of trouble.
