On of my favourites is a Te Deum by Haydn. I can't recall the catalogue number but its on the recoridng of the Nelson Mass deon by Trevor Pinnock and the English Concert.

It has got a great rhythm , it almost bounces along in parts.

This is a new one from Keith and Kristyn Getty. I like it! :)

(For those who don't know them, they are modern hymn writers, often working with Stuart Townend. They are Irish, or, at least, Kristyn is. I'm not sure about her husband, Keith.)

Which two are your boys, Elen?

The two in the front look like they could be brothers...are those them?

My eldest is behind Jacquelyne, and my middle son is the blond one on the right of the picture!

Boys that age in choir robes always look so angelic, don't they? But speaking as a former boychoir mom. . . . :nono:
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

That's a great lineup of songs. And such handsome boys!
Take my hand, my friend. We are here to walk one another home.

Actually, we are looking into getting some track samples online - maybe Youtube or suchlike, to promote sales, since we are selling the CDs ourselves, so I will let you guys know if we do...

I would definitely like to order a copy of this, Elen. :)

It looks like a lovely collection of mainly traditional music. The Angel Gabriel is one of my favourite Christmas carols. And re: the modern items, I love Matt Redman's The Father's Love. 8)

Just PM me and let me know where and to whom I send the money. :D

That's wonderful, Di - thank you

(Though The Father's Love on the CD is by Simon Lole...)

Will bring your order with me tomorrow evening to RotK Live - looking forward to seeing you again :)

I wish you could be there, too, Al. (I wish that I could be there, but that is even less realistic.)
