Me too! It's funny. I was going to take a picture of it while it was mostly still, but then my friend's son threw a rock in. (Of course, right? That's what kids do with rocks near water.) At first, I was trying to wait till it went still again. But then I realized the image was even cooler with the ripples, so it was a good thing.
That's amazing. She was more interested in the camera than the actual prey!

This is Love Creek, which runs along the street we live on (coincidentally named "Love Creek Road").
Think we've gotten some rain this weekend?

You should post a pic of what it normally looks like, but, yes, it looks pretty wild and crazy! How much rain did you get?
It's been raining all day here; we still really need the rain, so I'm not complaining. It would have been a lovely day to stay in bed and sleep, though.

“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”
