I think Eldy does the best work with translationparty. I'm pretty sure it's not an accident!

Not an accident, it just takes patience to try lots of quotes until you get something suitably mangled and, preferably, amusing. :D

It's a very small pig. I have no courage other than my own food. But you fought the Valkyrie and ran away!

Nope. Earlier than Pippin/Bergil.

I think Eldy has been taking a break, but I am sure that it is correct so go ahead and post a new one.

Here you go:

“Then the old man died and fell on his face. Our people have never heard of the ancients in the mountains.”

Is that about the terrors of the pass through the Harrow-whatsit, when Aragorn is getting ready to pick up his army of the dead?

Eta - yes, there it is
For the old man died in that hour and fell upon his face; and no other tidings of the ancient dwellers in the mountains have our folk ever learned.
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

Does the original actually have the word "squirrel" in it?

If so, is it related to Faramir and his men?

Treebeard to Gandalf regarding Isengard:

“Not a squirrel will go here, but I shall know of it.”

Tolkien had some particular way of writing… look at that sentence.
