I realize that I basically have the answer I just need to put the letters in the right order but if that had been my last guess? I had all the letters, I didn't have any letters that had already been discounted in that space by earlier words, it's just completely random which one is right or wrong.

For awhile now I often (but not always) use the same first 2 words and try to get the answer from that. If I am not fairly certain or have a choice between only 2 or 3 words I use a 3rd word. Today was the first game where there were NO hits with my first 2 words.

My favored starting words are STERN, YCLAD, WHOMP, and JUVIE, which I got from a Slate article about optimal Wordle strategies that I read before I'd actually played the game myself. lol Sometimes I'll use either FOGGY or BOGGY as a fifth standard word, since I found B, F, and G to be the most commonly useful remaining letters in Quordle, Octordle, etc. I mix things up with Hurdle depending on the letters I have at the start of each round, and with regular Wordle I almost always stop at four standard words, if not sooner.
