You *might* have recognized it but you didn't SOLVE it in the game before me!! Muhahahahaha. I win!

Um, the answer:

Merry to Pippin: "I'll be as curious as you like after breakfast, and I'll help in any way I can at wizard-wheedling. But I can't keep awake any longer. If I yawn any more, I shall split at the ears."

And then Pippin grabbed the palantír from Gandalf's sleeping arms. (drum roll)

See, this is why Voronwë and I don't always solve it right away - we want to give you kids a chance :P

Actually, I think I'm the eldest one here. But I'm definitely a neophyte when it comes to knowing the texts.

Perhaps she's just resting?

Pining for the fjords?

All shagged out after a long squawk?

Is the quote reasonably accurately translated?

Is it said by a hobbit?
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

Is it Bilbo in the eagles eyrie in response to Gandalf saying that they were famished with hunger:
