I'm gonna go with 'deleting the first 2 lines of blocks before hitting 'submit'?'
But it shows you right or wrong only after you hit enter.

I meant it as a joke - that before they posted the results they just deleted the non-correct rows in the reply box...

Every now and then I wonder how this word made its way into English. To speakers of Slavic languages, it clearly means a thing that performs work, but in English it's meaningless.
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

Frelga, regarding your query about the etymology of today's word:
Hidden text.
It is Czech in origin. The word robota means forced labor. Karel Čapek used it in his play R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots) in 1920. Here's the text: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/59112/5 ... 9112-h.htm

I know where the word came from, I'm just surprised it became adopted. How many English speakers read Čapek? Even I often confuse him with Jaroslav Hašek, whom everyone should read because he is -ing hilarious.
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.
