Re: Games, Riddles, Puzzles, and other Distractions
My other online group just send me this game saying "This is right up your alley!" and I'm all... yes. LOL
The dumbest thing I've ever bought
was a 2020 planner.
"Does anyone ever think about Denethor, the guy driven to madness by staying up late into the night alone in the dark staring at a flickering device he believed revealed unvarnished truth about the outside word, but which in fact showed mostly manipulated media created by a hostile power committed to portraying nothing but bad news framed in the worst possible way in order to sap hope, courage, and the will to go on? Seems like he's someone we should think about." - Dave_LF

Don't worry, it's not another Tolkien group. I'm bi-fandom.

No. One tried to get me into Genshin Impact (and while it is pretty...) I just did not have the time to get into yet another game!

Is there more than one wordle? I think so. I've been playing this one: https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/
But there is another one and one can adjust the number of letters in the game and play multiple times. https://wordlegame.org/
Frelga, as long as you make it in 6 you've WON!

There are spinoffs like Absurdle. There are also ripoffs, trying to make money off the viral game that's provided freely and generously.

Yeah, I've played Absurdle, but it's.. well, kinda absurd.

Absurdle worries me. Should we really encourage a hostile AI?

I am doubting that *is* strategy. That, my friend, is luck! But well done, nonetheless.

I'm gonna go with 'deleting the first 2 lines of blocks before hitting 'submit'?'

Re: Games, Riddles, Puzzles, and other Distractions
Remember when Al said he always used the same two words to start? The second word was the winner.
Knowing that, I tried to see how long it would take me to guess the word by using incorrect guesses with my usual logic. It was 4/6. Not sure how pure that experiment was, though.
