 Di
I am sorry.
From the ashes, a fire shall be woken. A light from the shadow shall spring. Renewed shall be blade that was broken. The crownless again shall be king.

Thank you very much, everyone.

I don't think I realised until now how comforting a virtual hug can be.

Oh, Di. I'm really sorry to hear that. I'll be praying for you, for her, her partner, and your siblings. I wish you had had more time. :(

Di  I'm glad you found her and had the time to know her and build memories. I'm so sorry the time has been so short. My thoughts are with you.

Oh, Di, I'm so sorry about your birth-mother!

I'm so glad she had the chance to meet you and get to know you -- I imagine that's a comfort to her now. I just wish you could have had more time together.

And I wish your father were less frail. :( Old age is hard.

Thinking of you and all of your family during this hard time . . . .

Di, you are in my prayers.
Take my hand, my friend. We are here to walk one another home.

Just to let you know that my birth mum died peacefully in her sleep yesterday evening. My family in Northern Ireland will let me know about the arrangements.

Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers, everyone.

Di, I am so sorry. You've been in my prayers and will continue to be.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Very sorry to hear of your loss, Di. May her memory be a blessing.
