Welcome, AlexZello! Pull up a chair!
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Nah, probably no more than two. But who's counting. ;) The important thing is that it is nice to see you here now!

Wow! Elm nice to see you. It's been too long.
And I knew eventually Whistler would prove to be of use.

Is Hael who I think they are, or is it just a complete coincidence that they chose that username? :D

Hey. :)

I joined, but have been busy with uh, well, I was reading a good book. Then I had to fix dinner. Then I took a bath. Then I watched tv....I feel like someone who has a library book that is way, way, WAY overdue. Is there such a thing as forum amnesty day?

It's good to be back with old friends.

Thank you! :) I meant to go over and post here too.
It's been a while since I visited Tolkien fandom, and then one rewatch of the movies after 5 years, and voila - I'm now rereading the books again, and the passion is back, and I'm so happy to see the familiar faces from TORC and learn that life didn't stop but continued here, and that the flame was kept alive.
Feels like coming home after a long time. So now expect me to drag up some old topics a lot. :)
