Thank you Holby, for relaying the information and thank you for those who pray.

There will be a religious ceremony on friday and the funeral on saturday.

I said more on b77 and in my LJ, but don't always have the emotional energy to type everything out twice.

"What do you fear, lady?" Aragorn asked.

My co-worker and personal friend, Liz, is in the hospital in a bad shape due to surgery complications. She may be going in for a second surgery, because the hospital just can't figure out what is wrong. Please spare a thought and a prayer, if you can. She's a fantastic person and a Tolkien lover.

Certainly, Frelga. I hope they can figure it out soon, and without more surgery.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

vison's sister died this morning, after a very sudden and brief illness.

Just thought folks should know.

Yes, she posted about it in the Parlour. My prayers go out to vison and all of her family.

Thank you all my dear friendsm for your thoughts and prayers. My friend is doing much better and feeling stronger, and so far the second surgery wasn't necessary.

That's wonderful news, Frelga. May she continue to improve.
