Yes, and we will see Republicans loving vote by mail again.

Not only were the insurrectionists not members of 'Antifa' or other left-wing radicals pretending to be Trump supporters (as some GOP senators have suggested despite FBI Director Wray and others completely debunking that 'theory'), in at least one case they were Trump supporters pretending to be Antifa.

Feds charge man who claimed he dressed up like Antifa and beat, stole gear from police during Capitol riot

Biden has acknowledged the inevitable and pulled the Neera Tanden nomination for director of the Office of Management and Budget.

White House pulls Tanden nomination

Regardless of how qualified she was (and I believe that she certainly was qualified, though not necessarily the one and best choice), politically it was such a misguided nomination that I have to wonder whether she was meant to be a sacrificial lamb from the beginning.

According to CNN, prosecutors have asked their superiors at the Dept. of Justice for permission to file sedition charges against some of the Jan. 6 insurrectionists.

Many QAnon followers had been predicting that today, March 4, was the day that it was to be revealed that Donald Trump was really still the president and was now being inaugurated for a second term, on the supposed grounds that the 20th Amendment, which in 1933 changed the inauguration date from March 4 to January 20, was not valid.

That not having come to pass today, some of these Q cultists are now claiming that the real date of Trump's return will be March 20. I'm not sure what the reasoning is.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time until they settle on the notion that the second coming of Trump was always meant to be understood spiritually.

Either that, or no ever specified what year. It could be March 4 (or 20), 2022, 2023, 2024 or (of course) 2025. Or perhaps some other year yet unnamed.

I think it would be rather...unlucky for them to pick the 15th of March!
When the night has been too lonely, and the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong,
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes The Rose.

The Record Eagle in Traverse City, Michigan has an interesting story about "attorney Katherine Friess, a Washington, D.C. lobbyist with past ties to Roger Stone and Paul Manafort, who local officials said 'bragged' about dining with President Donald Trump and [Rudy] Giuliani the evening prior to her arrival" in Traverse City in late November where she oversaw an outside examination of county voting records that "was not sanctioned by the court, but rather operated in what some officials called a 'legal gray area.' ... The Nov. 27 visits by the outside team weren’t illegal, but barring a court order, likely should have required a Freedom of Information Act request, said Saginaw-based attorney Greg Schmid, an expert in Michigan election law."

Prosecutors cited the 60 Minutes interview of Jacob Chansley, the "QAnon Shaman," in a hearing today, arguing that it shows that Chansley still believes in the cause that he claims in court proceedings to have repudiated and led him to take part in the storming of the Capitol. And after his defense attorney echoed what Chansley's mother said on that CBS program about him believing that law enforcement was welcoming him into the building, prosecutors pointed out that he had to be asked multiple times by a police officer in the Senate chamber to leave, and that before doing so, he left a note on Vice President's Pence's chair reading "It's only a matter of time. Justice is coming."

The judge also had some tough words for Chansley's lawyer about how Chansley came to do the interview without the judge knowing in advance.

Apparently all is now clear after Hillary Clinton tweeted this at noon yesterday:
The party of "Freedom Fries" would like you to know that "cancel culture" is a very serious problem.
You see, the capitalized initials in "Freedom Fries" are a sign that she's talking about "canceling" the "F. F." which actually means "False Flag." In other words, the whole idea that Trump would inaugurated on March 4 was a false flag operation secretly put forward by Democrats like Clinton in order to make Republicans look bad.

These are the kinds of minds that decided cheese pizza was a euphenism for child porn and thus Pizzagate (QAnon's predecessor) was born. In other words, there's no point in trying to rationalize this crap because it's not rational to start with.

It physically hurts me. I can deal with ignorance, faulty logic, with beliefs that I consider morally reprehensible. But when I can see input and output and I don't comprehend how the person got one from another, it literally hurts my brain.
