Not buying it, doesn't make any sense with what we know of the rights. New Line/WB's contract only includes LotR and The Hobbit, and Amazon had to negotiate directly with the Tolkien estate for the Second Age. Wegotthiscovered is also known to be a crapshoot in the accuracy of its rumors.

Yeah, I'll wait for an official announcement.

Like just last week it was discussed as fact that Evans would be back as Captain America and the only question was how, until Evans himself tweeted that it was news to him.
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.
