Notpron riddle game

Post by Rodia »

I'm probably horribly late in discovering this game, but who cares. It's got over a hundred levels (which is a lot) and about the same number of people who have managed to solve it all the way through (which is not).

I'm on level 21 and very very stuck, even with the help of the official forum's hint thread.

Have a try. It's...well, it's so annoying, you just can't stop playing.

Nope. :p

Okay, a hint- this game is about playing around with the source code of the webpage, with the address line, decoding stuff you see on the screen...it's never just point and click (except the first level).

For level 2, look where the hand is pointing. :P

Yeah, I figured out #2, instantly became annoyed and closed it down. Thanks but no thanks. :P

Bah, you're just afraid of it.

I'm hooked. Level 22 almost made me spit my milk all over the screen.

I'm too stupid for that. :blackeye:

On picture 3, the address said: gototheothersite - huh, what other site?

So, I took this to mean: gobacktoHoF :P

gobacktoHOF! :rotfl:

You're not too stupid, the above proves that (:D), you just don't have the requisite knowledge to play the game. I don't, either, so I'm not even trying. :P

Come on, guys, there's no superknowledge needed here, just a bit of thinking outside the box.

I mean I got to level 25, what does that prove?

Well, I got to level 4, but this is just sucking up SOO much time!

I think Lidless would be very good at this, though.

Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes The Rose.

I think it's cool. I can see how it could occupy hours.

I am up to level 5...

People like me are too stupid to attempt this.

Googling for level 4 brought some    results

Man, I could waste all sorts of time on that site! If I had all sorts of time. Which I don't.

I got to level 4 pretty quick. Level four took me a little while, but I figured it out. I'll go back and try some more when I have time.

Thanks Ro!

I'm going to try this tonight at home. I cannot dare to try it at work, because i'm being paid to be productive solving problems for the company. :P Or I could have gotten away with it :D

EDIT: got to level 5 quickly and now I need to go work ;)
