Calling halplm!!!

Post by vison »

Hey, curling lover!

I don't know if you can get it anywhere, but The Brier is on TSN this weekend. It's the BIG bonspiel in Canada. Wonderful curling.

And the women's world championship will be along not long after that.

You'd really enjoy this curling, halplm. It's better than the Olympics, really.

Are the Norwegian mens team going to be there?

No Norwegians, this is all Canadian. It's really good. I didn't think halplm could get it - maybe on satellite, I don't know.
:(

If a person was really "into" it, another person could send them a DVD of it after, I guess. But I think that might be carrying things a bit too far. . . .

indeed it might :)

I can't find it anywhere on tv, so I'll have to miss it this time. :( Hope it is enjoyable.

Well, so far it is.:)

But surely the women's world championship will be on SOME American TV? Some obscure cable channel? It's sponsored by Ford Motor Company after all . . .

I'm checking it out. It's weird to see ads on the ice :)

Ah Adds on the ice is pretty regular thing as the Briaer and Tournament of Hearts (the womens competiton) have large corporate sponsorship.

I am finding many sporting events run by CTV (TSN is run by CTV) affiliated stations are running them are making them available for internet streaming, I did not know it was available outside Canada though. I think CBC is also doing that too. I usually find it hard to catch international curling though. Canadian curling I get all the time.

I hope you enjoyed the curling. :)

Missing vison too, but glad to see you!
