I had to check the Grey Annals to answer that question. The answer is yes, but less than ten years later the answer would be no.

I was pretty sure that Húrin's and Huor's sojourn in Gondolin ended before Beren and Lúthien were able to wrest the Silmaril from Morgoth's crown (it definitely is mentioned first in the Silmarillion narrative) , but I knew that it was all jumbled up in the time period after the Ruin of Beleriand and the Fall of Fingolfin. Based on the Annals, Húrin and Huor left Gondolin in the year 458 of the Sun (or perhaps 459), Beren became an outlaw in 460, he entered Doriath and met Lúthien in 464, and they were able to obtain the Silmaril in 466.
