The US is out and England is out. I am stunned, but Germany has been doing pretty well. I think Germany will be the only survivor from this South American take over. I missed both games yesterday as I was out all day, but my dad told me both games were really good and controversial. Anyone wanna fi...

I love S & S, liked P

Back to topic, sounds to me like PJ is taking over with GdT departure. Perhaps we will know the casting sometime within the next month.

This must be tough for GdT, like getting invited to the ball and having to leave at 10 instead of mid-night.

It's cool you got called out by name Voronwë, perhaps you can continue your friendship with him. (I say this selfishly because I want to have an 'in' with GdT's films ;) )

There are not many people who can take 6 years off to work on something that may or may not happen within the 6 year period. I am going to miss GDT thats for sure, his visual abilities will be missed. I agree with Voromwe, I think it's still all far up in the air. If this turns into another Star War...

I think it reminds me of Arizona to a point already. Sherrif Joe already detains illegals in tent cities in the desert in the middle of summer, people cheer it on. Execpt the Gingers are not Ginger they're Mexican. It hasn't yet got to the point of killing, but that's the next step.

I have to agree with Maria. until the laws are equal, either way, women and men are not equal...either women get to be bare chested or men have to cover up...either way, it needs to be equal. If I put a nipple on my foot would that make it sexual? Would I need to wear support socks for my nipple foo...

Actually the results weren't above board, it was decided by the Florida courts....in a State whose governor was the brother of the 'newly' elected President. Gore won the popular vote, i.e. he had more votes than Bush.

eborr You can say the same thing about the US and Wall Street Wall Street 'had' the US and the citizens bought right into it for the last 30 years. Deregulate the banks...many Americans cheered in the 80's about Regan doing that. Deregulate the houseing market....many Americans cheered in the 90's f...

That was an interesting read. I wonder if the old wives tale about babies and dogs being the best judge of character is somewhat true. I've notice if my dogs don't at some point warm up to someone (after 5 to 15 minutes) I tend to get a bit freaked out. I've observed that babies tend to not like mea...

I would put Dylan and Lennon on the same place, Lennon probably would have gone on to do more than Dylan had he not been killed. I am not sure about McCartney though, I don't think he and Lennon were on the same level. That said McCartney is head and shoulders above everyone else, other than Dylan a...
