Just got back from seeing it. :shock: Ang Lee did a good job translating it and my eyes are full of eye candy. Between Pi, Lincoln and Skyfall, I'm having a great few weeks of movie viewing and I still have The Hobbit to go. Sadly I haven't seen the last Twilight movie .....but I haven't seen any of...

Holy Guacamole Batman...I am so excited. I have no idea how I am ever going to make it through the next months/years...I am so ready for a good movie. I've been so disappointed in the stuff coming out lately (though I haven't seen the last HP yet). Of course I've been somewhat disappointed since RoT...

I like Lee Pace, (miss Pushing Dasies). He should make a great Thranduil.

I'm excited, should be fun. I am looking forward to the speculation and guessing and gossiping of what is going to happen, and what really happens. However, I am not so much into these two films as I was the LoTR....mostly because my own life has taken such a change that I am busy with it as of late...

Too much going on at the moment to keep up with. Just go to TORNs front page and keep hitting refresh all day. I just go once or twice a day and read like crazy ;) Feels like the good ol' days with all the speculation. The excitement....the wondering....the guessing....the predictions..... the anxi...

Sometimes you have to let someting good fall apart so something better can fall together. This might be a blessing in disguise. I hate to see it not filmed in NZ but I am sure it will be good regardless.

I have to agree with Ax on this. I used to joke about the prequels of LOTR i.e. The Hobbit(s) taking the same time as the SW's stuff...20 plus years. I was just joking, now it looks like that might actually be coming true.
