Agreed. And not enough straight answers - though Obama seems to be making an effort more now.

Ooh... not anymore as I was typing....

Oooh.... back on topic again.

This is the first time am really seeing McCain in action - he really is good at the town-hall format.

Obama just said, again, "Senator McCain is absolutely right", or something to that effect.

Obama needs to keep looking cool and calm and measured. And if I were him, I would not use the phrase "you are right John" at any time tonight. He needs to purge his vocabulary of that phrase. I agree. Why can't he say - This is a valid point. Or in this case, at least, we agree. CNN show...

Oh, I was moving stuff around. I know how to lift with my legs, but apparently either I did something while not lifting that messed it up, or I wasn't as careful as I should have been. All X-rays were negative, so it's all in the muscle, which all they can do is give me relaxers and pain killers......

You seem pretty sure he's gonna be fired by the next administration.
If Obama comes in, am sure he will be. Am not sure McCain will.

I heard on NPR, that there was another method (pushed by some economists) to stave off the economic meltdown as compared to the current one floated by Paulson - called stock injection. Effectively, what it meant was that instead of buying the bad assets from the banks the way they are planning to do...

I got 3 of 5.

The two of us are the only ones online right now, Holby.

Both of us need a life.

Palin: I know education you are passionate about with your wife being a teacher for 30 years, and god bless her. Her reward is in heaven, right? The more I think about it the more it makes me dumbfounded. Why say this to someone whose first wife has passed away? Was it a dig? Was it a bait to see i...

I don't think it would have fallen "cleanly", I don't think that's even possible.

It's funny... It seems everyone seems to have seen what they wanted to see. [OT or maybe not OT] There is research which validates this. Its called anti-trailer/pro-leader information biasing. Effectively, it means that once a clear leader out of the available options has appeared in a consumer's m...

I think Biden was more analytical - which I liked. I just wish he'd talked about Obama more than anti-McCain / anti-Bush. I agree that the format favored Palin more. There was no space to really say "You didn't answer the question" (and she often did not). I read a link which said that the...

Yes, I like the moderator woman.

Am not sure I like the current format, though. There are certain points I would have liked fleshed our better.

I do think that Biden is making a mistake about over-criticizing the Bush regime, and not emphasizing Obama's hope and change mission.

Yes, she's doing fine. Biden seems to be focusing more on Obama-McCain than Palin is. But I can't support that with numbers. ;) I think she has been coached very well - she has all the votes, all the policies in tow right now. Now why couldn't they have done this before? I don't think it's about co...
