Sudoku difficulties are based on how much info is available. An easy Sudoku puzzle should be solvable using the basic comprehension of the rules. The difficult levels force you to look three or four moves deep. Like, if this is a 3, then that would have to be a 4, and that would have to be a 7 so.....

I just spent an hour working through a sudoku puzzle on sudoku.com. It was their "evil" level. I'm not sure why they call it that. It just took a while. I did have to resort to guessing a few times, so I suppose that makes it evil.
