I'm on a mac myself, Prim. Firefox is my browser, but I just tried it in Safari and it works fine.
Don't know what to tell you.

An illustrated map of my city
There's an Architectural Photography thread in here, I assume that means it's not just nature photos that are welcome? :P I just discovered Google Maps is awesome. Old news, most likely, but I'm happy to learn that one can create a map with paths, markers, photographs, videos, well, really anything!...

Since the discussion has been split off, I'll restate: I 'voted' Catholic cause that's what I am. I was born into the faith, but when I was a child, I can't remember my parents ever stressing over it. I grew up with the idea of God being all around rather than the obligation to go to Church every Su...

:P Yeah I'd be repeating myself, I think I said pretty much everything in my first post. I mean, I can repeat myself, but it's late... nel. Slightly off topic, but I was actually wondering about women in Judaism, and whether they suffer similar inequalities. A couple of years ago my (Jewish) f...

I used to dislike the idea of women becoming priests, now it still doesn't ring right with me but I can't really justify the feeling so I couldn't protest if the rules changed. I would be glad to see new possibilities. If the rule on celibacy changed...See, I don't think those who go see married pas...

I also don't think celibacy among priests is the cause of sexual abuse in the church- I would hate to think men are not capable of any kind of restraint, and will most likely turn to abuse if they are not given a wife! Obviously there is a lot to be done to clean out the clergy, no one can de...

I think what I gave before are really good reasons for priests to be celibate. :P (sorry if I ramble, I'm not a Manweista :P) Priest do very different things; from mission work to teaching at universities to simply taking care of a small village parish, to only name three examples. These tasks, besi...

I am not sure a person can give equal attention to their family and their church flock; one will always have to be sacrificed in some way. That was always how I understood it, that priests remain celibate so that they can devote their lives to two things: God, and bringing His message to their cong...

Practically, the decision to allow married priests would also be a decision to agree to support the families of these men, and I don't think that would be taken lightly. Money being one thing, since not all priests earn it outside of the Church- and then you have all the other issues that a family ...

I agree with both of you that the first photo is nicer- and also, yes, they do give me a different feeling! I feel that the first one is meant to show us how much we consume, what an endless sea of products and packaging we walk through every day, while the second one seems more like a comment on th...
