It should be a great match. True Federer is more rested, but Nadal should have enough time to recover. After all, he is in excellent shape, and is a suberb athlete. I agree that it will come down to who wants it more. And I think it will be Federer, because he has the opportunity to make history. B...

Really? Should be interesting. I was quite upset when he lost the big W. last year... that was his turf.

The Williams sisters are quite interesting - just as people write them off, they come back. Again and again. I like Venus more, though. Just because.

corrected for wrong trivia.

V, they've closed the roof since the quarter finals, as far as I remember. Or the semi-finals. Should have done it sooner.
:P

Nadal is quite incredible. Federer looks like he is on his way out.

Good question.

Think of it as a marriage... compromise isn't necessarily a bad thing. ;)

The Republicans do not want to be seen at odds with a currently popular president - if Obama's plans do well, I doubt their constituency is going to be happy about their representatives being against Obama and his policies. Thus, the "Pelosi, not Obama stance". However, I do agree that if ...

I heard a radio report (sorry, I don't remember the source) that an estimated 2 billion people worldwide watched the inauguration. If true, that's staggering. My father-in-law stayed awake in India to watch it. He definitely has never bothered to, ever before. Of course, part of it is related to hi...

Were there any questions about ISI's involvement in terrorist cells? It was at times like that that it really showed that at the end of the day he still was a politician and not an academic. Well, you have to give him some leeway there sw . And so do I have to. Once you've been the leader of a coun...

I posted this on b77, but I appreciate the part in Obama's speech where he lists non-believers along with the other creeds that make up America. There was never this kind of inclusion with the Bush Administration, and it encouraged people to continue with the exclusion. This atheist is happy with O...
