The Pirate Party joined with some other minority parties (Secular Party, Science Party, Climate Justice Party and Vote Planet Party) to form the new FUSION party, which has a surprisingly rational, progressive platform.

An out of state address (my bff in Maryland) and the $50 fee, worth it for me because I pay more than twice that to Amazon annually for my kindle books.
I access via Libby.

Re: The Kindle Books and Resources List
I export my e-book library to an external hard disk. If ever a book is pulled, for whatever reason, I can still read it on my e-reader, having takwn the precautionary step of turning off wireless access. In other news, I am now an out of State member of the Brooklyn Public Library and can borrow e-b...

Re: What are you reading?
I read the Binti trilogy -it is indeed adolescent. I persevered through the three because I liked the writing and I was curious about the cultural perspective. I can't recall reading any other black African writers. I also read Noor - thanks for the recommendation Narya. I enjoyed the book though I ...

Re: What are you reading?
I recently (sometime in the last 2 years) reread a Wrinkle in Time and wish I had not. It's a good book, well-written, but lacks something for an adult reading. I read all t...
