Yup, that was what it was Lali, I saw it. He said that why did you start this debate with this "trash". That's what the standing ovation was for.

Romney for President! :P He should stop acting like a CEO looking for a win win situation and play the game like a politician. :D

Hmmm I don't think I've ever come as close to matching a candidate 100% as I have here with Obama. We have vote predictor thingies like this in Canada but the results are given along party lines rather than for individuals. If you guys are crazy enough not to give him a second term I hope he would ...

I tried the quiz and hmmm...I am for Mitt Romney seems like I'm a true blue conservative. :D I'm fine with the turn out, no Obama on my list. ;) If only NJ Governor Chris Christie was running...sigh... Ideal Theoretical Candidate (100%) 2. Rick Santorum* (76%) 3. Mitt Romney* (74%) 4. Newt Gingrich*...

 I will be praying for you, Lali. Is there any way you can move to another church? To tell you the truth, I feel sad hearing you dread going to church because of the change happening. I feel your pain. I used to go to a parish just a stone throw away from my home but I feel that everytime I go ...

I've had a chance to read through the opinions, and not surprisingly, I fully agree with Justice Ginsberg. But my overwhelming sense here is this a case in which the attorneys for the plaintiffs greatly overreached, with a result that caused more long-term harm to the cause of opposing workplace di...

I knew Wal-mart was going to win this case! This is the "franchise" corporate mentality now and I am speaking from experience. Store A's policy is different from Store B's or C's, even if the company laid out the ground rules, it is the manager who implements it the way he/she understands ...

:agree: with both Lali and Prim. In fact I have to face the fact my kids hate tennis. I will try again this year to encourage them to like it a wee bit so I enrolled them. The lessons are free so I took advantage, if they still don't like it, well, I have to throw the towel and call it quits. Well, ...

I have to say Princess has a copy so I read it. I like 80% of what she is suggesting in the book and I have to agree if my Dad didn't push me to do better I wouldn't be where I am today. In fact, when I saw the Tim Horton's ad where the dad told his son, "Study, no Hockey" I was tou...

Thanks for the links Impy! I gonna start browsing now. :) I have to agree with Voronwë, most of the sites say "must have US address" , it doesn't state "must be a US resident". I like the Art of War, too, if they have a free copy then I'm a virtual resident of Illinois as well. :...

I was volunteering for the Toronto International Film Festival when it came out. (I do every year, it's worth every plane ticket and vacation time!!!) I was handing out ballots for the People's Choice Award at TIFF (rate the movie and win a Cadillac :) ) to the patrons (moviegoers) and they kept tel...

Carmen?
Have you tried the Roy Thompson Hall Souvenir Shop? They might be able to recommend you a good recording better than the CD stores. Try calling them. You can also try the Canadian Opera House I think it's somewhere along University and Queen, give them a call also.
