Hi Prim! nice to be here.

You are in for a treat indeed. Most of the mysteries are also quite funny and interesting. As for the Regencies, I tend to prefer the fluffy ones...

Wow, I also have almost all Georgette Heyer's books, historicals and mysteries. I got hooked on her in the weirdest but nicest way:I was waiting my turn at the cash of the bk section of a big Montreal dept store (this was around 1978-79) when the lady behind me suggested I might like these books, ri...

Husband rented Serenity a few weeks ago, and we LOVED it! We dont have cable or satellite, so Firefly is not available to us for the moment, but we will have to look for the DVDs for sure. Thank you for the recommendation!

I really love this track. Somehow "track" sounds wrong for this wonderful music... It is lovely on its own; it took my breath away in the Arwen's fate section of the film. Such poignant beauty filling our ears, our eyes, our hearts... sigh...

I like that haunting choral part very much, I was rather intrigued to find it not used in the film... For the Gollum springing on to Sam and Frodo, at the moment I am suffering from "heard it too many times" syndrome; it might wear off eventually

Thank you TTBK!! I love Foundations of Stone,( well there is not a lot I dislike on that CD :D ) I really enjoy the choir music in this track, my absolute favorite part of course being the "urging on" Gandalf bit, though I hear narendur rather than nurenna in that last bit...goes off to li...

Vison: Anointing oil (holy chrism) is usually olive oil from the Holy Land. A new batch of oil is blessed every year, during Holy week preceding Easter, and is also used at baptisms and during last rites, in the Catholic church anyways. It means a lot to me also that Aragorn is not just a great warr...

Waves to all, sips toddy appreciatively, admires Jnyusa's black hollyhock. Yes, looks like a good place. I will be back, time now for me to get my beauty sleep. See you soon.
