I don't have satellite service/don't listen to Howard Stern's show, but from interviews I've seen, he's gone through therapy and he's not quite the 'shock jock' he once was.

Re: The (no longer) much too early 2024 election thread
Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) has been putting out a lot of ads. Polls indicate a dead heat (what an odd phrase meaning 50/50) among those who say are certain to vote. She has a 5 point lead among registered voters.

Re: The (no longer) much too early 2024 election thread
I never answer the phone if I don't know who is calling. I don't answer for several reasons; One, yes polling takes too long. Two, there is no way to know if it is a legitimate call or if it is someone voice phishing/cloning. Three, there is usually some question 20 minutes in which I refuse to answ...

Re: Trump Indicted by Manhattan District Attorney
To be fair, I haven't been particularly keeping up with the trial other than what I've been reading here and I'd heard about Trump's sleepiness and odor issues and I had no idea/was wondering what was being referred to although it is a little TMI. The fact that he apparently fell asleep in court la...

Either I'm having a really horrible game day or there is something wrong with the Waffle puzzle today.
Edited:
I made it with 4 to spare, but FYI, there were issues with the yellow tiles on today's puzzle.

That sounds like a mafia shakedown. Is that normal for a political campaign? And what does JFC mean? In this context. LOL!! JFC... :rotfl: OMG.. hilarious. It means Joint Fundraising Committee, but all of the money goes to Trump. And no, NONE of that is normal. Usually funds raised by the Republica...

Re: US Supreme Court Discussions
I'll post George Will's column. The phrase “often in error but never in doubt” could have been coined for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. The appellate court most frequently reversed by the Supreme Court in recent years should brace itself for another reprimand during Monday’s oral ar...
