x-posted with B77. Hey guys, I'm entering a composing competition, and the text requirement is 'something that portrays the universality of God.' Basically, a sacred text that isn't affiliated to any religion. (I think that's the idea...) I'm thinking of using perhaps some of Walt Whitman's poetry, ...

I love all 4... Tehanu is vaguely disturbing though, or at least it was when I first read it, at the age of 10... (I got all 4 in a single volume.)

There's something special about having the actual paper and ink signature though...

(I'm still banking on getting my copy of the Hidden Worlds (and, when I can afford it, the sequels) signed)

I admit to having some irrational prejudices against the Kindle, which I may or may not get over.

Ditto, but I like the idea of books being more easily accessible, saving trees and being much, MUCH easier to carry around...

I did rather enjoy the music of that video, L_M, and the seediness of the man in the car is hilarious...

But it's good to know that people have moved so far on from that.

I've loved every Hobbs I've ever read, and I'm only waiting for the time to properly read the Liveship Traders.

Certainly he should not have a full criminal trial. I don't know what sort of an alternative there is, but he is not, as Holby and Prim have said, and adult, and cannot reasonably be tried as one.
