He uses that phrase a lot... Maybe this one:

"You are not wise to be glad of the Yellow Face."

Sorry!

Here we go:
Quote:
Displays the duration between sunset and sunrise for the selected date.

Is it some unidentified Hobbit at the gate when the travelers first return to the Shire, 'Can’t you read the notice: No admittance between sundown and sunrise?’

Yes. Just the last sentence “no admittance..”

Cool. Your turn.

But the curse of the shadow gate that breaks some beggars is at least a promise of fate.

This was significantly reduced from the original, which was two sentences long. Good luck.

First I had to remember what it was!

Al was actually in the right chapter. Not only was the original quote significantly reduced from two long sentences to one shorter one, the order of the phrases was reversed.

I think I've found it:

Felagund wrote:

I thought I would make things easy by including a quote that had a Tolkien-invented word in it that would make it through the translator, but half-way through it got changed to "BARAR" in all-caps.

Here's how it ended up:

Quote:
Besides using it as a foot, the anger of BARAR is not here.

Earlier on:

Quote:
Not only does it need to be a foot, but there is no anger of BARAR here.

The original word has the same vowels.

Feel free to ask for hints - two keywords survived, and the original has a synonym for "anger".
