DoS was one fresh review ahead of BotFA at this state (through 48 reviews). AUJ was at exactly the same place as BotFA. Interestingly, DoS ended up with a total of 215 reviews, while AUJ had fully 55 more than that with 270. I seriously doubt many more certified reviewers reviewed AUJ than DoS, which feeds my belief that RT does not always include all reviews from certified reviewers. I'll be interested to see if you have get a response from them, NR, and if they add the reviews that you pointed out to them.

On the brighter side, top critics are still at 80%, still with only 5 counted, and Metacritic still only has the 13 that it had a week ago, with a score of 62. There still is a long way to go before any judgments can be made.

Once those are added, what would be the projected RT score?

Am I correct in recalling that a few of those have not actually written reviews yet, but only tweeted initial reactions (like James Berardinelli)?

Down to 69% with a negative review by OohTray: http://www.theoohtray.com/2014/12/13/fi ... ve-armies/

The same reviewer had given a negative review for DOS as well.

Frankly, that's ridiculous. It's a far better movie than that.

Well, that's subjective. :)

I do have a pretty good feeling this time 'round, though. Expect it to be my favorite of the three.

So he did go 3.5. Cool.

Edited to add: But of course, not added to RT.

As i recall from last time V, there were quite a few reviews which were expected to be added to RT but weren't, even after you wrote to them.
so I'm beginning to think some of these might not end up in the RT Roster.

The most important thing for a review to be added in RT is the reviewer must be an APPROVED reviewer from RT.

Which reviews of DOS that were RT APPROVED were not added last year? I do not remember any. Sooner or later every single one was added.

P.S. Voronwë, your prediction for Berardinelli's rating was totally correct ;)

Both Beradinelli and Kermode have been added, keeping it at 69%. (As an aside, Kermode's rotten review is certainly no more negative than the Flick Filosopher one that was also 3/5 and added as fresh. Go figure?)

NR, I couldn't swear by it, but my recollection is the same as SV's, that some RT-approved critics reviews for DoS that I had tracked last year never got added. And I think you know that I know how tell whether a critic is on their list of approved reviewers (you just have to look at their list!) And the fact that DoS has so many fewer listed reviews than AUJ tends to bear that out. But if you say that they all got listed eventually, I am happy to accept your word for it. It is certainly too early to make a judgment about whether they really will add the missing ones this time. But I am suspicious, given than it has now been almost a full two weeks since some of them were published.
