Nope!

By an Eagle?
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

Frelga, do you have the quote?

When it's easier to borrow the book from Libby to copy the quote than to get up and find the paper book.

But unsolicited help is a blessing in disguise, and nothing makes me happier than seeing a friend.

No, but you are 1/4 correct.

1/4?
It’s Aragorn?
It’s Aragorn?

Re: The Tolkien Translation Game!
That would be 1/2.
Aragorn is not the speaker.

Is it something to do with the unexpected meeting between Frodo, Sam, and Faramir?

No, that would make Alatar 0 right.

Éomer to Aragorn?
And I’m very curious about your fractional attribution.

Yes.
There are 2 sides to the conversation, the speaker and the, um, speakee. Al guessed Aragorn and the Rangers. Rangers are not a party to this conversation, so that's 1/2 incorrect.
Aragorn is a party to the conversation, but Al guessed that he was the speaker, which is also incorrect. He is, however, being addressed, so the guess is 1/4 correct overall.
Impeccable logic.

Re: The Tolkien Translation Game!
Aha. I had placed the “context”also in the attribution, so I had speaker, speakee, context. And so, thought that it can only be 1/3 wrong or right.
Did not consider the right person, wrong classification condition.

Re: The Tolkien Translation Game!
I considered the Rangers are presumably around for this conversation, even if they don't participate in it. But that would make fractions too confusing.
