Welcome, kams!
I don't know if you remember me from TORC, but I remember you! I'm very glad to see you here!

“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Thanks to Alatar for the encouragement to drop on by and register.

Find me a lurker for now. In time I'll post more. I have, like, 1000 PAGES of stuff to read here. I'l be in the Silmarillion thread if you need me....

Hi Holbytla! I remember! Jynusa, you are so sweet to me.
Yeah, I still feel loyal to the old m00bies place on TORC. Just kicking around the ROTK movie lines and waiting for the complete recordings. grrr.
I miss the people from old m00bies and so now I am here. Nice to see everybody. Nice to see how things have evolved. I like a kinder, gentler messageboard.

Every thread is the Alatar swoon thread.(oh, is this not the the Alatar swoon thread?? sorry.)
Don't be shy about speaking up, even about earlier portions of the book. As you can probably tell, that discussion has a very Entmootish feel about it, so we definitely don't mind backing up and considering earlier parts. There is certainly much to consider!I'l be in the Silmarillion thread if you need me....
It's really great to have you here!
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."
