WATCH: @PhilipRucker says President Trump wants to be the center force in the midterm debate, and "that’s a real risk for the Republican Party." #WashWeek https://t.co/89D1Ju4bxVhttps://t.co/9aJg7QpRi9
I don't know, this video probably makes valid points, but I'm stuck on what kind of heartless and/or brainless person names their son Philip Rucker.
In my defense, I've been coughing all night from what is probably irritation from the smoke but feels like the last act of La Traviata and I'm a bit loopy.
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.
In India, a standard way to get through cold winters is to burn tires. That creates havoc with the air that gets into regular houses & apts & sets off everyone coughing. Steam seems to help.
'You just said "your getting shorter": you've obviously been drinking too much ent-draught and not enough Prim's.' - Jude
Maybe try a neti pot & salt water gargle if you think it's irritants. Occasionally I'll get a cough/sore throat and I have found that it's from post-nasal drip and an antihistamine before bed helps.
Steam. Make yourself a cup of tea (black, green, herbal, it doesn't matter) and sip it.
We've been having problems with smoke too, both from in-state fires and the disaster in California. I can't even imagine what it's been like to be in California.
Just had to post this here, because, like, you MIGHT not know this:

When the night has been too lonely, and the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong,
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes The Rose.
Verizon Wireless' throttling of a fire department that uses its data services has been submitted as evidence in a lawsuit that seeks to reinstate federal net neutrality rules.
"County Fire has experienced throttling by its ISP, Verizon," Santa Clara County Fire Chief Anthony Bowden wrote in a declaration. "This throttling has had a significant impact on our ability to provide emergency services. Verizon imposed these limitations despite being informed that throttling was actively impeding County Fire's ability to provide crisis-response and essential emergency services."

Verizon claims it was a customer support mistake & shouldn't have happened. Somehow I'm not feeling reassured nor should anyone else.
Verizon on Tuesday said the fire department's plan shouldn't have mattered. "Regardless of the plan emergency responders choose, we have a practice to remove data speed restrictions when contacted in emergency situations," the spokesperson wrote in an email.
"In this situation, we should have lifted the speed restriction when our customer reached out to us. This was a customer support mistake. We are reviewing the situation and will fix any issues going forward."
Just a "customer support mistake," everyone. We're sure California's firefighters feel very reassured.

There are people with far, far more offensive racial views than Donald Trump or Tucker Carlson. If Trump and Tucker are "racists," then what do you call those other people?
A: we call them racist.
My favorite reply was
There are people far, far more further along in their pregnancies than those in their 1st trimester. If women in their 1st trimester are "pregnant," then what do you call those other people?
