One would appear to be quite innocent, I see. :D

Welcome, Glawariel! Make yourself at home!
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Hi Lhaewin - nice to see you here! :D

(And that's all I have time for - bedtime - just got your mail/lj-comment, but answering will have to wait till tomorrow. Whoever invented work? :rage: ;) )

Thanks for the welcome! I don't frequent that many boards but of the ones that I've visitied and participated in these boards seem to have such a friendly, pleasant and mature feel to them. It's a real pleasure to browse - kudos to those involved in creating and maintaining it! :).

By the way- 'Glawariel' is a rough translation of my english name (or rather the meaning of my name) into sindarin. Glawariel means sunlight and my name in the real world means (among other things) ray of light.
Home is behind, the world ahead
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadow til the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight
Mist and shadow, cloud and shade
All shall fade, all shall fade

Isn't that interesting that the two of you joined so close together?
