Interviews for Shadow of Mordor.
While I am certainly going to purchase “Shadow of Mordor”, the overall premise sounds pretty strange and nonsensical. Nevertheless, after having seen some of the interviews with the director of design and the lead writer of the game I am quite intrigued by the game. The lead writer is Christian Cantamessa, who also was one of the writers for “Red Dead Redemption”. And that game surely is one of the best Westerns of the last decade.

A selection of the cards have been posted on Flickr and some of the stats make for interesting reading...
Shame they didn't issue a set for AUJ, as far as I'm aware....same thing happened with HP - they only started issuing sets with the Prisoner of Azkaban.

There is magic in long-distance friendships. They let you relate to other human beings in a way that goes beyond being physically together and is often more profound.

9 chairs, presumably - or is the 10th a carver for his Lordship?
Very elegant...I wonder if there's room for it in sf's basement? He's fond of the Barad-dûr theme!

I was expecting to see a picture or video of Manwë, Varda, Ulmo, Olórin, Aulë, Melian, Sauron, etc. sitting around a table playing poker.
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."
