And now the real cover image is finally uploaded. With the TORN announcement, the sales have picked up considerably:
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

That's very cool, N.E.B. I'm very much looking forward to getting to meet Verlyn for the first time next week.
Of course, the really strange thing is that Amazon was selling copies of the book last week, only to go back to saying that it had not yet been released.

Re: Paperback edition!
Got a royalty check today. Not a very big one, but it still nice to know that people are still buying the book, more than ten years after the book was first released!

*Applauds*
It's a very good book, Voronwë; anyone who wants to better understand the Silm will want to read it.

Mornings wouldn't suck so badly if they came later in the day.

My copy has arrived. A quick flick through warns me I'll need my thinking cap well and truly on!

I have to say, this isn't bedside easy reading. It's dense, esoteric, and incredibly thorough in its analysis.
Love it!

I got my largest royalty check in years today. What a surprise! It is so gratifying to know that more than 12 years in people are still buying this book!
