We exist to serve.

I wanted to see it better anyway. It's spectacular!

One of America's castles, built between 740 and 1040 CE.

The mountains in the first picture are visible from my work window and if anyone has see the movie Appaloosa they are also in that movie.

And a Christmas ball at work...I took it because I was playing around.

All pictures taken with same camera.

not much of a fauna or flora photographer, here is a link to my good friend Andy Routh's site.

Many years ago he an I were in a band together, playing punk music before we realised what it was

A slide show from our Christmas walk in Big Basin, including the Mother and Father of the Forest (you'll know them when you see them):

Gorgeous, Voronwë! Especially the Mother and Father—I'd have known them without the signs, I think!

And what a lovely day you had for your walk. Hug

Wonderful Voronwe! I was there about a week earlier and the Redwoods on the coast and the Sequoia's in the Sierra's always make me think of Tolkien and the ents. Much like star gazing they remind me how insignificant we are in the scheme of time. I hope you and everyone here had a wonderful holidays.
