"The Stanley Parable is one of the most interesting Fails we've seen this year."

Hm, no, don't think that's gonna work. :P

Interviews for Shadow of Mordor.

Post by Beutlin »

While I am certainly going to purchase “Shadow of Mordor”, the overall premise sounds pretty strange and nonsensical. Nevertheless, after having seen some of the interviews with the director of design and the lead writer of the game I am quite intrigued by the game. The lead writer is Christian Cantamessa, who also was one of the writers for “Red Dead Redemption”. And that game surely is one of the best Westerns of the last decade.

My kids love these...

A selection of the cards have been posted on Flickr and some of the stats make for interesting reading... :?

Shame they didn't issue a set for AUJ, as far as I'm aware....same thing happened with HP - they only started issuing sets with the Prisoner of Azkaban.

That is awesome! I still have fun playing the LEGO LotR, and I'm very excited for this one!
Really like Thorin's representation, btw.

Latest news is that it will cover the plots of the first two movies and there will be a followup game for the third movie. Much the same as they did with the Harry Potter games.

Is it bad that I would watch a whole movie done in that style?

And I see the toilet-throne finally gets its moment in the sun! :D (figuratively, of course).

9 chairs, presumably - or is the 10th a carver for his Lordship?

Very elegant...I wonder if there's room for it in sf's basement? He's fond of the Barad-dûr theme! ;)

Not sure I could eat dinner under the Ring. As a poker table, though, it would rock. One full house to fold them all...

I was expecting to see a picture or video of Manwë, Varda, Ulmo, Olórin, Aulë, Melian, Sauron, etc. sitting around a table playing poker. ;)
