That tears it.

S gave me the tapes for the BBC radio version. I *need* to find a tape deck.

I like Nighy's version the best, followed by Tolkien's. It's a song, sung by a hobbit, in the wilderness. It shouldn't be ornamented, and, with all respect to Tolkien, it should be sung. In my opinion.
