Anyone who starts their quest for Middle Earth in Chichen Itza has missed the boat. Literally. The New World? Seriously?
But yeah, okay, so I know they have an agenda of the-aliens-made-me-do-it, and the aliens are more likely to show up there - but at least start with Stonehenge, or something vaguely close to Oxford! At least pretend that you are basing this on, you know, the actual book (though it seems clear that he's using Jackson's movie as his primary source, not the text ~ easier that way, I suppose).
