I don't get the joke.
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

What joke? I never said it was meant to be "funny", just "fun". Its audience awards, you vote for them.

Ah, okay. I apologize that I misunderstood.

I did vote for Martin Freeman as the best actor. He's just so likable! :P

Finally, glad to see Howard Shore and the underrated DOS score in a contest.

Generally agreed with the Oscar winners this year.

I liked DOS, but don't believe it deserved an award in any category, really.

DoS wins one award at the MTV Movie Awards...
Best fight:

WINNER: Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly vs. Orcs, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

Apparently Orlando Bloom was also nominated for "Best On-screen transformation..." :?

MTV awards are a joke, really.
These are awards to get more movie-names up on the board. Nothing else.
