!!! Most excellent!!!
This is fun. I am not particularly awake and/or bright at the moment, but I just checked in. Will see what I can come up with.
I do the NYT puzzle most days, but the Saturday one is sometimes very hard and I often fiddle about with it all week.
A recent one was brilliant, in my view: Take Five. Did anyone do it?

vison, I haven't done a crossword puzzle in decades. No particular reason why; I used to love them. These days I'm addicted to those stupid Sudoku puzzles (and so is my s-i-l) ... probably because they go so fast.
When you say, "Take Five," do you mean that was the title of the puzzle? Or was that one of the clues?

Sorry it took me so long to get this clue up! I was never very good at crosswords, luckily TIGG got most of the puzzle for me this time.
Next clue:
Frozen rodents (4, 5)

I've got stuck in my head a picture of the dormouse at the Mad Hatter's tea part. Miced Tea? (Watched AiW with my granddaughter over the weekend.)
Ok, I have to think.
