Tosh's is Carry On, Regardless. :D

Oh, man. I wish it was. I loved those Carry On movies. Dear old Sid James. :(

Carry on, eh?

Very well. I have two, and I consider them both rather easy, though what do I know? They are movie titles, but beyond that I won't say anything.

First one's easy enough: Twelve Angry Men.

In the second one, your Faramondian deviousness and subtlety come into play. As a sleepy person, I plead for mercy. Tomorrow after coffee (but before work), I'll look again. And probably do no better.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Make it 13 angry men, because you got it so easily! :x

;)

The second one is my favorite, yes. Devious and fun, that one is.

I have a third as well ... the Shirrriifffs can yell at me if that's too many. :D

3. It's a movie and a book, 5 words.

:grouphug:

Yep, that's it.

*has a look, shakes head and wanders off again*

I didn't even know that 12 angry men was a movie title. Being very uninterested in pop culture and especially movies and TV shows as a rule, I don't have a snowflake's chance in Phoenix to participate in these :P

#2 Is it The Misfits? If not, how many words in the title. We need the standard clues
#3 It's not Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice - too many words
ETA The Fellowship of the Ring?

Btw mine wasn't Carry on Regardless. I'll post mine again when Faramond's is cleared up

My god Faramond, what is all that?

How many words? you should tell that at least...

Yes, Fellowship of the Ring is number three. That smiley is a fellowship in emotional shape and a ring in physical shape, is it not? :D Once I saw that I had to throw it out there as well.

Tosh, you need to give some hints for yours, I think. I'm very intrigued by it but can't make heads or feet of it.

As for number two, I will only say it is a big grossing movie from a year beginning with 200 ... in other words from this millenium. The charade clue is clear, not stretched at all ... but you have to see it, of course. ;)

Indeed it is! Right you are, Alatar! :D

I hoped no one would try to decipher what the long long string of signs was supposed to say ;)

I didn't want to say how many words that title was because I thought that would make it a bit too easy.

I thought it was Titanic, with the ship leaving the shore while people wave from below. :D

Okay. It's a Movie. Three words.

Or, as an easy alternative, a TV show. One word.

Hmm...yellow face indicates oriental. Scratching of head indicates puzzlement and self-doubt.

Shakes pair :scarey:  ....Inn  ....Love

I had intended to go back and make it a little clearer.

If I'm allowed a turn for my correct guess Its a film and book, three words, the middle word is tiny.
