Nope. It is a quote of Morgoth to Húrin that is actually in The Silmarillion. (ETA: that one is from the Narn, but does not appear in the Silm.)

No, "power" did not change from the original; it stayed the same. Here is the quote again:
Thou thy doom master simulates Alda Merck problem power supply.
"Thou" and "master" are also in the original quote unchanged, except for capitalization (for both of them).

So in the original, both are questions and end with question mark. They also both start with the word "why".This is why? Why your power and now something of the authority.
The first sentence is not "Why is this?" In fact, the word "is" doesn't appear in the first sentence at all.
