Banner Artwork by Anke Eißmann

Post by Voronwë the Faithful »

Our banner is a detail from a wonderful painting called The Hall of Fire by Anke Eißmann, who has graciously granted us permission to use it as our banner. The artwork may not be used elsewhere without her express permission. It should be noted that this image is cropped and low quality. To see the full, high quality picture, and more of Anke's other wonderful paintings, go to http://anke.edoras-art.de.

Edit: as of April 9, 2006, the banner is a full, uncropped copy of the painting, though still small and relatively low quality. We still encourage you to check out the full-size version at Anke's site.

"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."
