Sweet God Almighty, I just watched "Half Nelson."

Very good, but very disturbing.

Jethro brought it over. He'd seen it last night. The fact that we are fellow High School Teachers is even more disturbing.

Don't watch it with your children. Yet, it's very good.

Kramer versus Kramer. It was played so well that I could hardly sit through it - and only with loads of Kleenex handy.

I am not sure about the Cider House Rules. One of my favourite films, but by now I have given the second viewing a wide berth.
How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it.

The Passion is one I haven't been able to bring myself to watch again.

For completely different reasons, it's the same with Rob Roy (Liam Neeson, Jessica Lange). The movie was good, but I was so disturbed by the rape scene, we've never watched it again.

I rarely (and I do mean rarely) purposely watch movies that are so sad and/or disturbing.

So, did you?

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch The Passion even once yet, from what people have said about it. I want to see it at least once, but I'm having a hard time getting up the nerve.
